Designed for modern combat scenarios, AIMS ensures swift target acquisition, improving accuracy and mobility on the battlefield. The system enables vehicle-mounted deployment, making it compatible with various 4x4 vehicles for flexible and versatile operations. Additionally, its Shoot and Scoot capability allows rapid repositioning, reducing vulnerability while maintaining tactical superiority.

Equipped with a digital Fire Control System (FCS), AIMS ensures accurate targeting across various distances and terrains. The system features 120° traversal and an elevation range of 45° to 85°, allowing quick and precise alignment with targets. Operators can monitor and adjust targeting parameters via a digital console with map visibility, reducing cognitive load and enabling faster response times. Stability during firing is maintained to enhance accuracy and minimize system wear, ensuring consistent performance in high-stress combat situations.

AIMS is configurable for 81mm and 120mm mortars, adapting to specific mission requirements. It integrates an onboard ammunition carrier, allowing rapid reloading and reducing dependence on external resupply. The system supports prolonged engagements with efficient operational readiness. Its firing range extends up to 6.5 km for 120mm mortars and 4.5 km for 81mm mortars. AIMS ensures quick deployment, requiring under 40 seconds to position, 10 seconds to re-aim, and 20 seconds for withdrawal, making it highly efficient for dynamic battlefield operations. The platform weighs less than 700 kg without ammunition and occupies a compact space of 7 x 2.5 (L x W) on the vehicle bed, with customization available as per operational needs.
